| Talented teachers are emerging as essential leaders for districtwide reform efforts. The staff of the Center for Urban Science Education Reform (CUSER) and its districts worked to implement wide-scale, systemic changes, and found that the roles of the teacher leader deserve a closer look, as do some of the institutional issues those roles raise about time, schedules, and expectations. This paper looks at these issues. | |
